Student of the Month
Darnell Hicks
February
Darnell Hicks, a senior at Del City High School, is the February student of the month at Mid-Del Technology Center. Darnell is in the Welding program with Mr. Jeff Hayes.
Darnell is a member of SkillsUSA. He is also an “A” student at MDTC.
He works part-time at Old Chicago Grill in Midwest City.
According to Mr. Hayes and Mr. Addington, “Darnell works hard and offers help to anyone in need. He is very respectful. He has excellent potential. As an example of his character, Darnell returned two lost wallets with large sums of money.”
Upon high school graduation, Darnell plans to use his welding skills to help pay his way through college.
