Fast Track: Career Development Programs

Adult Career Development programs at Mid-Del Tech Center are short term courses, designed to be cost-effective and hands-on. Classes are most commonly held during the evening, with occasional Saturday training. Short term courses teach specific skills that enhance occupational readiness, lead to possible certifications, meet continuing education requirements, or introduce new training concepts. Also, there are many offerings for personal enrichment and special interest.

Industry Related

Mid-Del Tech Center offers a wide range of industry-related short courses for trade-related occupational skills and personal enrichment.

Evening Plumbing Certification Program

This program is designed for students with little to no plumbing experience as well as apprentices currently working in the field. This program has the approval of the Construction Industries Board.

Aircraft Structural Technologies

This instructor-led course covers common shop tools and hand tools, shop safety, shop math, conventional and special fasteners, corrosion control, coating removal and application, tubing, cable, fiberglass and advanced composites, and the basic structural repair fundamentals.

Online Courses

Mid-Del Technology has partnered with LERN UGotClass course options to provide a dedicated training portal. Fully accessible, self paced courses in Business Writing, Data Analysis, Spanish for Medical Professionals, Accounting and Finance for Non Financial Managers, Project Management, Management, Supervisory and Leadership, Digital Marketing, and Social Media for Business.

Daytime Auto Services for Adults

Auto Service Technology students will gain employment in automotive service repair.  The hours completed in this major are aligned with ASE/NATEF standards and an excellent foundation for the entry-level technician. This modular class allows students to enroll in specific sections providing greater flexibility to the student that needs to focus on a specific area.
