Auto Service Technology students will gain employment in automotive service repair. The hours completed in this major are aligned with ASE/NATEF standards and an excellent foundation for the entry-level technician. The CareerTech student organization, SkillsUSA is integrated with the training to offer opportunities to develop leadership skills. SkillsUSA offers to students an opportunity to compete with other schools to enrich their training and be better prepared for the world of work. Occupational competency certificates may be earned for Automotive Brakes Technician, Automotive Heat & Air Technician, Automotive Engine Performance Technician, Automotive Electrical Systems Technician, and Automotive Steering & Suspension as part of the program.
