New Adventures FAQ
Q: What is New Adventures?
A: New Adventures is a summer program offering a variety of courses designed to: introduce students to Mid-Del Technology Center, an opportunity to work with their hands and learn a new skill while socializing and having fun with their peers.
Q: When will New Adventures take place?
A: There will be 3 separate sessions; June 7th-11th, June 14th-18th & June 21st-25th. Each session is 5 days and takes place from 8:30am-11:30am. Doors will open at 8:10 a.m. and students must be picked up by 11:45am.
Q: Who can attend New Adventures?
A: New Adventures is for students entering 6th-9th grades for the upcoming school year.
Q: Where will New Adventures be held?
A: All sessions will be at the MDTC main campus which is located at 1609 Maple Dr. Midwest City, OK
Q: What is tuition per session?
A: Each session is $75 (students may pay to attend multiple sessions)
Q: What all is included in the $75 tuition?
A: Tuition includes all course supplies, a “New Adventures” backpack, and water bottle & snacks each day
Q: Can my child bring their own snacks or drink?
A: Yes! There is also vending machines on-site where students may purchase a drink or snack.
Q: Will breakfast or lunch be provided?
A: No. In order to keep tuition costs down, neither breakfast nor lunch will be provided. However, each course will take a 10-15 minute break to use the restroom and enjoy a snack.
Q: Will transportation (bus) be provided?
A: No, it will be the parent’s responsibility to make a plan for their child to be dropped off and picked up each day. Doors open at 8:10am and children must be picked up by 11:45am.
Q: Is there a full day option?
A: No, only morning sessions (8:30am-11:30am) will take place.
Q: What is the dress code?
A: New Adventures will follow Mid-Del Public Schools dress code. One exception is; students may wear hats. Please have your child dress in comfortable clothes and shoes that are appropriate for school.
Q: Will masks be required?
A: Yes, students and parents must wear masks while on the MDTC campus.

Q: When can I enroll my student?
A: Online enrollment & payment will open on May 3rd, 2021
Q: What is the refund policy?
A: The last day to cancel your registration to receive a full refund (minus a $15 processing fee) will be June 1st. There will not be any refunds if cancel after June 1st.
Q: What else do I need to know?
A: Each student & parent will sign a Student Code of Conduct acknowledging their understanding of the student’s classroom expectations and what happens if those expectations are not met.
