Anatomy and Physiology is the study of the structural complexities of the human body and its intricate functional mechanisms. In this course, students will learn and demonstrate a basic understanding of the following body systems: Organization of the Body; Chemical Basis for Life; Cells, Tissues, and Membranes; Integumentary System; Skeletal System; Muscular System; Nervous System; Endocrine System; Blood; Cardiovascular System; Lymphatic and Immune Systems; Respiratory System; Digestive System; Urinary System; and the Reproductive System.

This course meets the pre-requisite requirement for the Practical Nursing (LPN) program at Mid-Del Tech Center.

Adult Career Development Refund Policy – Short-Term Evening Classes

  • Students must cancel 5 business days prior to the class start date to obtain a full refund minus a $10 processing fee.
  • Full refunds will be given IF Mid-Del Tech cancels a class.

Testing Refund Policy

  • Students must cancel before 12:00 PM on the day before the test begins for a full refund minus the $10 processing fee. There is no refund on the day of the test.
  • Full refunds will be given IF Mid-Del Tech cancels the test.
  • Due to unforeseen circumstances, some test dates may be rescheduled without payment penalty.
  • Testers will be allowed one (1) free re-test for entrance exams only.

Mid-Del Technology Center’s Adult Career Development (ACD) department has partnered with LERN & Ed2Go learning platforms to provide online career, professional and certification training. These advanced courses offer a flexible way to learn and prepare for a new career or help you advance in your current job. Please note, these courses are NOT accredited full-time programs and are conducted through a 3rd party.
