Automotive Service Technology is focused on providing the foundational ASE aligned industry standard skills used by entry-level automotive maintenance technicians. Exploring this pathway, students work toward Student ASE certifications in Automotive Brakes, Automotive Heat and Air, Automotive Engine Performance, Automotive Electrical Systems, and Automotive Steering and Suspension. Topics covered include the fundamentals of automotive service, automatic and manual transmission, brakes, engine performance, electrical and electronic systems and components, heating and air, steering and suspensions, and introduction to electric vehicles.
