The American Heart Association’s Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers course teaches you to promptly recognize several life-threatening emergencies. Includes giving high-quality chest compressions, delivering appropriate ventilations and providing early use of an AED (automatic external defibrillator). This course meets CPR requirements for Mid-Del Tech’s health career courses. After completion of the class, you will be emailed a BLS for certification e-card.
Each student enrolled in this class is encouraged to purchase a student manual, review the material, and bring their manual to class (AHA BLS Provider Manual, 2020 Guidelines, Paperback ISBN: 978-1-61669-768-6 or e-book ISBN 978-1-61669-799-0)
MDTC has these manuals available to purchase in the Adult Career Development Office for $25 each. Please contact 405-739-1712 if you have any questions.
