Masonry is focused on teaching the skills needed to become a masonry laborer, laying the foundation to potentially become a skilled stone or brick mason. Exploring this pathway, students work toward obtaining their OSHA 30 and Forklift certifications. Topics covered include introduction to construction and masonry, reading plans and drawings, masonry materials and installation techniques, building forms, foundation work, residential and commercial techniques.
