Medical Terminology (Online)

Have you been looking for a short-term, online medical terminology course? We have it! Enroll in our online medical terminology course that can be accessed using the Internet anytime day or night! This course is designed for students to develop a working knowledge and proper use of terms in the medical field. Students acquire word-building skills by learning abbreviations, prefixes, suffixes, and roots that are related to all body systems. Knowledge of medical terminology enhances the opportunity to successfully secure employment or pursue advanced education in health care. As this is an online course only, classroom attendance is not scheduled. 

This course meets the pre-requisite requirement for the Practical Nursing (LPN) program at Mid-Del Tech Center.

Adult Career Development Refund Policy – Short-Term Evening Classes

  • Students must cancel 5 business days prior to the class start date to obtain a full refund minus a $10 processing fee.
  • Full refunds will be given IF Mid-Del Tech cancels a class.

Testing Refund Policy

  • Students must cancel before 12:00 PM on the day before the test begins for a full refund minus the $10 processing fee. There is no refund on the day of the test.
  • Full refunds will be given IF Mid-Del Tech cancels the test.
  • Due to unforeseen circumstances, some test dates may be rescheduled without payment penalty.
  • Testers will be allowed one (1) free re-test for entrance exams only.

These advanced courses offer a flexible way to learn and prepare for a new career or help you advance in your current job.
