Assessment/Academic Center

Mid-Del Technology Center’s Assessment and Academic Center performs a number of vital functions in the day to day operation of the school.  On the academic side, pull-out math classes for high school students allow secondary students to enroll in a career major who otherwise could not do so because of high school graduation requirements. Math courses available include Intermediate Algebra, Math of Finance, Geometry, AP Calculus, and Pre-AP Math Analysis.  Language Arts help is available for resume writing, speech competition, proofreading, contest preparation, and numerous other literacy-related topics.

MDTC’s Assessment Center handles all testing issues for the school.  These include: Oklahoma Department of Career and Technology career major competency testing, COMPASS entrance exams for adult students, End-of-Instruction testing for the Oklahoma State Department of Education, WorkKeys testing for Career Readiness Certificates, online testing for student-organization-sponsored competitions, National Health Science Consortium testing, and ACT Prep.
